My name is Jessie Marianiello. I am an artist, writer, explorer and lover of life. I am a full-time pet portrait artist and fine art equine photographer. I am a traveler, a seeker, a lover of all things wild and winged.

On November 8th, 2014 the love of my life, Carl Bratlien, was tragically killed in a car accident. He was broad-sided by a semi-truck going 70 mph and killed instantly. He was only 35. We had our whole lives ahead of us, but in a split second, everything as I once knew it was shattered. God brought me to my knees and, in doing so, my life was forever changed.

I created this blog as a space of untangling. This is my faith walk. It is made of words and photographs, coffee and questions, prayers and paint, strength and sadness, horses and dogs.

The day that Carl died is the day that I gave my life to God. This is my journey.
